  • Do I need to buy a meal plan?
    All undergraduate students who live on campus are required to be enrolled in the minimum required meal plan based upon their housing assignment.  All undergraduate students given permission to live at home or off campus may select any meal plan option with a minimum requirement of the Commuter Declining Plan. 

  • Will my meal plan auto renew for next semester? 
    Yes, a meal plan contract is binding for the entire academic year.

  • Will unused meals or Declining Balance roll over? 
    Declining Balance funds can roll over from the Fall semester to Spring semester but cannot be rolled over from year to year. See how to budget your meal plan dollars with this DB Budgeting Calendar.

  • If I have already purchased a meal plan, can I change it?
    Dining plan changes are allowable only during the applicable change periods.  Dining plan changes will only be accepted at the Customer Service/ ID Office in Susan B. Anthony Halls using the official Dining Plan Amendment Request. Eastman School of Music students can get a Dining Plan Amendment Request from a Manager at the Eastman Dining Center.
  • •Fall semester: 09/10/18 – 09/15/18 (there is a $25.00 modification fee for plan changes or cancellations.) •Open Spring Modification: 10/29/18 – 11/03/18; 11/26/18 – 11/28/18 •Late Spring Modification:  01/21/19 – 01/25/19 ($25.00 modification fee applied)

Don’t worry - simplicity and convenience are all within reach. Once you have a meal plan, your student ID works like a debit card. Just swipe your card and the meals and points are deducted from your meal plan account.

Our Meal Plans

River Campus
River Campus Meal Plan requirements are assigned by residence hall. The minimum requirements are as follows:
Students living in: Genesee, Gilbert, Hoeing, Lovejoy, Susan B. Anthony, Tiernan: 
Blue Unlimited Pass Plan or 150 Pass Plan
Students living in: Burton, Crosby, DKE, Fairchild, Kendrick, Lovejoy, Munro, OBrien, Slater, any other house on the fraternity quad without kitchen access: 
 Blue Unlimited Pass Plan, 150 Pass Plan, or Option A Declining Plan
Students living in: Anderson, Chambers, Gale, Wilder: 
Option C Declining Plan
Students living in: Brooks Crossing, de Kiewiet, Douglass Leadership House, Drama House, the Maisonettes, Riverview Apartments, SAM, Sig Ep, Valentine: 
Option D Declining Plan
Off Campus (Non-Residents)
All Undergraduate students given permission to live at home or off campus may select any meal plan option with a minimum requirement of the Commuter Declining Plan.

For reference, door rates for Declining Balance are $7.50 for breakfast, $9.00 for lunch and $10.00 for Dinner.

2018-2019 Off Campus Dining Contract
Eastman Campus
Resident Eastman School of Music Meal Plan requirements are assigned by class year. The minimum requirements are as follows:
First Year Students: Have a minimum requirement of the Blue Unlimited Plan or the Option A Declining Plan for the year.
Sophomores & Juniors: Have a minimum requirement of the Option B Declining Plan.
Seniors & Graduate Students: Have a minimum requirement of the Option C Declining Plan.
